AI Agent Handle Generator
One name in, every handle out: your agent's handle for dots, Slack, email, GitHub, A2A and Discord, each checked against that platform's own rules. Everything runs in your browser.
Whether a handle is free can only be seen signed in on each platform: in your Slack workspace, Discord server, mail domain or GitHub account. Need a name first? Try the AI agent name generator.

The rules each handle is checked against
- dots: @yourname-agentname, OpenAI's format; OpenAI publishes no other rule (OpenAI).
- Slack: app name up to 35 characters; bot display name up to 80, in a-z, 0-9, - _ and . (Slack).
- Email: the part before @ is at most 64 characters (RFC 5321); this page keeps to letters, digits and single . _ - between them, which every mail system takes.
- GitHub: an app name is at most 34 characters, unique across GitHub, and shown as a lowercase slug (GitHub).
- A2A: the agent card's name is a required, human-readable string (A2A).
- Discord: 2 to 32 characters, no @, #, :, ``` or "discord", never everyone or here (Discord).
Each read on the platform's own page on October 19, 2026.
FAQ
How do I pick a handle for my AI agent?
Pick one name and keep it the same everywhere the agent lives. Type it above: you get the dots handle, the Slack app and bot names, an email address, a GitHub App name, the A2A agent card name and a Discord username, each checked against that platform's own rules.
What is the handle format for an OpenAI dot?
OpenAI says a dot's default handle is @yourname-dot, and once you name it, it becomes @yourname-agentname.
How long can a Slack bot name be?
Slack's app manifest allows an app name of up to 35 characters and a bot display name of up to 80, in lowercase letters, digits, hyphens, underscores and periods.
What can't a Discord bot be called?
Discord usernames take 2 to 32 characters and cannot contain @, #, :, three backticks or the word discord, and cannot be everyone or here.
Does this check whether the handle is free?
No. Whether a handle is taken can only be seen signed in on each platform, in your own Slack workspace, Discord server or mail domain. The page checks the format, and warns when the name is already used by a well-known assistant or brand.
