LLC Name Generator
Generate company names that already end in LLC. Pick the designator your state wants (LLC, L.L.C. or Limited Liability Company), and every result carries it, in the row and in what you copy. Words most states restrict, such as Bank, Trust or Insurance, never appear. Pick your state and each name links to that state's business-name search; press Check .com to read the public registry for the matching domain. Free, no account, everything runs in your browser.
Tick a name to check its .com — up to 5 at once. Nothing is looked up until you press the button.
⭐ Saved favorites stay in your browser — find them all in the Idea Library.
About the buttons next to results: one marked “affiliate”, such as Register a .com, is an affiliate link, so Nameryn may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Make a logo and Form your LLC are plain links today. Next steps appear only after you save a name or a .com check finds no registration, and they never change which names you get. A .com check reads the public registry once: it is not a guarantee or a trademark search, and a state accepts a name only when its own register says so.

How to use this LLC name generator
- Pick the designator: LLC, L.L.C. or Limited Liability Company. Every result ends with it, and the copy button copies it too.
- Pick your state so each result's Details links include your state's business-name search.
- Press Generate LLC names for eight results. Words most states restrict, such as Bank, Trust or Insurance, never appear.
- Press Check .com on a result to read the public registry for that exact domain, then open the state search to see whether the name is distinguishable from the ones already registered.
- Save a favorite, then take the next step: register the .com, make a logo, or form the LLC.
Build an LLC name around your own word
Already have an anchor word — a founder's name, a product word, something with a story? Click any word inside a result you already generated (each one is underlined and says Use this word) and every result fuses it into a new coined name instead of drawing from the four strategies above: your word becomes the front half of an invented word, paired with an engine-chosen ending. If your word matches one of the generator's own recognized brand-suffix words (Capital, Guild, Enterprise, Consulting, and similar), it is placed as the ending instead.
- Click a word inside a result you like — or type it into Start with words above and choose Require these exact words in every name.
- It appears under Active rules in the Refine results panel, and results regenerate right away.
- Every new result fuses your locked word into a coined brand name. Lock a second word and the engine fuses both together instead of adding an invented half.
- Click the × beside it under Active rules to release that word and go back to the four regular strategies.
For example, locking "Nova" has produced results like:
- NovaHarbor
- NovaSummit
- NovaLedger
Your own results will vary each time — the engine draws from a large, randomized ending pool.
How the LLC name engine works
Every batch blends two sources: a curated bank of human-written business names (e.g. Clear Lantern, Trusted Trail, First Story), and coined names the engine builds from scratch. On the default settings the split is roughly half and half.
On the default Suffix setting (Off), the coined half runs four coining strategies: pure-invented words assembled from clean syllable pairs with no real-word root (e.g. Bobia, Nojeus); classical-root coinages built from Latin and Greek roots (e.g. Clarusen, Verois); safety-vetted truncations of real words (e.g. Relia); and semantic fused compounds that join a short coined prefix to a real brand noun (e.g. CalyxHaven, WexleyHaven). A fifth — a coined anchor paired with a brand suffix, from Labs, Works, Foundry, Collective, Studio, Group, Partners, Holdings, Digital, Media, or Solutions — runs when you set Suffix to Auto or pick one, and only then.
A per-batch balancer keeps any single strategy from dominating a batch, and a session-level freshness filter avoids repeating a name. The word pool contains no geographic names, personal names, or registered trademarks — outputs are invented words or curated brand-style pairings only.
For styled text to use alongside a brand name, try the Fancy Text Generator — it converts any name into bold, script, or double-struck Unicode ready to paste into bios and social profiles. To blend two existing names, use the Name Combiner.
LLC names — frequently asked questions
What is an LLC name generator?
An LLC name generator makes company names that already carry the designator a state requires, LLC, L.L.C. or Limited Liability Company, and keeps out the words most states restrict, such as Bank, Trust, Insurance or University. This one blends a curated bank of human-written business names with coined names, adds the designator you pick, and offers a .com check and a link to your state's business-name search.
Does my LLC name have to end in LLC?
Every state requires a limited liability company's legal name to carry a designator, most commonly LLC, L.L.C. or the words Limited Liability Company; a few also accept Ltd. Liability Co. The Designator control adds the form you want to every result, and "none" shows the bare name for a brand or a DBA.
Which words can't I use in an LLC name?
Most states restrict words that imply a licensed profession or a regulated business: Bank, Trust, Insurance, University, College, Federal, Attorney, Engineer and others, plus anything suggesting a government body. The generator keeps those words out of its results and marks a name if a word you typed brings one in. Your state's list is the one that counts, so check it before filing.
How do I know the name is free in my state?
Pick your state and each result gets a link to that state's business-name search. Florida and Oregon open with the name filled in; the other states open on their search form. A state accepts a name only if it is distinguishable from the ones on its register, so search the exact name and near spellings.
Does an available .com mean the LLC name is available?
No. The .com check reads the public registry once and tells you whether that exact domain has a record. Your state's register is separate, and so are trademarks. A good LLC name clears all three: the state search, the trademark search and the domain you want.
Are the names saved anywhere?
No. Everything runs in your browser. Names you favorite are stored locally on this device only, and a check or a next-step button sends a name out only when you press it.

Preliminary availability evidence: The optional .com
lookup reports only whether the exact domain had a public registry record at the
displayed time. “No registration found” is not a registration guarantee, trademark
search, business-registry check, social-handle check, or legal clearance. A state accepts
an LLC name only if it is distinguishable from the names on its register and carries the
designator its statute names; the restricted-word list here is a general one, not your
state's. Verify a finalist with your state and a trademark search before you file.
