What can this generate?

Two things. Funny Prompts mode produces weird, imageable phrases ready to paste into any AI image generator — try Cartoon, Cinematic, or Cursed style for different looks. Names & Titles mode generates band names, song titles, company names, game studio names, and video game titles. Dedicated generator pages for band names and song titles are also available.

Are generated names free to use commercially?

Generated names are creative suggestions — use them as a starting point. This tool does not check trademarks, existing artists, business registries, social handles, or domain availability. Before using a name publicly or commercially, search trademark databases, streaming platforms, and social handles to confirm it is clear.

Where are saved favorites stored?

In your browser's localStorage, on this device only. Nothing is uploaded to a server and no account is required. Favorites persist across page reloads but are not shared between browsers or devices. Use Export favorites in the Idea Library drawer to save a copy.

Does it work offline?

Yes, once loaded. All generation logic and word pools are in the JavaScript files downloaded with the page. There are no external API calls for generation. Reload once to cache the files, then it works without an internet connection.

How are names and prompts generated?

The engine combines curated word pools with weighted templates — adjective-noun pairs, action endings, band name patterns ("The + Plural", "Adj Singular", "Word and the Words"), song title templates ("After X", "Verb in Y"), and so on. A shuffle-bag system cycles through the pools so the same word does not repeat until every other word in the pool has been drawn.
