No-Code AI Agent Builders Compared
Six tools for building an AI agent without writing one from scratch, on one price basis: the first paid plan by the month with its yearly price beside it, what the maker charges by, the free plan and its limit, and whether it runs on your own server. Every price comes from the maker's own page, dated.

Prices and facts are from each maker's own pages, checked on the date in each row and refreshed weekly. GitHub stars are read live from GitHub when the page opens; if GitHub does not answer, the stars are the ones from October 19, 2026. n8n shows its prices in the reader's local currency and only as yearly billing, so its row gives them in n8n's words.
How to Choose
- Start from where your work already lives. If it runs across Gmail, Slack and a CRM, an agent that already connects to them (Zapier Agents, n8n) saves the most setup.
- Decide whether it must stay on your server. n8n, Dify and Langflow run on your own machine; that keeps customer data at home and swaps a monthly bill for hosting you run yourself.
- Price it by the unit the maker counts. Executions, activities, conversations and message credits are not the same thing: one support chat can be one conversation but several message credits. Read the Sold by column before comparing two prices.
- For a support agent, start with the support tools. Botpress and Chatbase come with the chat widget, the handover to a person and the channels a help desk needs.
Builders Not in the Table, and Why
This table is built from Nameryn's tool list, which takes a tool only when it has a public price or licence page and usage above a public floor: 1,000 GitHub stars, or a Hacker News story with 100 points. On October 19, 2026, Voiceflow and Relevance AI published no prices, only sales contact; Lindy, Gumloop, Make and Copilot Studio did not reach the usage floor; and Flowise's maker says it is being shut down. A tool that later passes joins the table at the next weekly check.
Next: Name It
An agent people will talk to needs a name that works out loud. The AI agent name generator makes them, the team namer names a fleet, and the persona card writes the card it goes on.
FAQ
What is the best no-code AI agent builder?
It depends on how you work. Zapier Agents is the quickest start if your work already runs across everyday apps; Dify and Langflow suit teams that want to build agents on a visual canvas and keep the option of running them on their own server; n8n suits technical teams that want code where they need it; Botpress and Chatbase are built for customer support agents.
Which AI agent builders can I run on my own server?
n8n, Dify and Langflow publish their code and run on your own server; Botpress publishes its code on GitHub under the MIT licence. Zapier Agents and Chatbase are hosted only.
Which agent builders have a free plan?
Zapier Agents (400 activities a month), Dify's Sandbox (200 message credits), Botpress (100 conversations a month), Chatbase (50 message credits a month) and Langflow (open source and a free cloud account). n8n's Community Edition is free on your own server.
Why are Lindy, Make, Voiceflow and Relevance AI not in the table?
A tool enters this table only from Nameryn's tool list, and the list takes a tool only with a public price or licence page and usage above a public floor (1,000 GitHub stars or a Hacker News story with 100 points). Voiceflow and Relevance AI publish no prices; Lindy, Gumloop, Make and Copilot Studio did not reach the floor when we checked; Flowise is being shut down by its maker.
Does Nameryn earn money from these builders?
No. None of these makers has an affiliate program with Nameryn, so every link here is a plain link, and nothing about a builder's place in the table depends on money.
